Results of the ๐๐ซ๐จ๐ฃ๐๐๐ญ โ๐๐จ๐ซ๐ญ๐ซ๐๐ข๐ญ ๐จ๐ ๐ ๐๐ฎ๐๐ ๐โ were presented to the representatives of Lithuanian judiciary and members of the bodies, directly participating in selection, evaluation, and promotion of judges on 20 December 2023.
The event consisted of two sessions. In the ๐๐ข๐ซ๐ฌ๐ญ ๐ฌ๐๐ฌ๐ฌ๐ข๐จ๐ง participants were invited to a discussion on adaptive leadership, together with the co-author of the book โPaliekant EGO lyderystฤโย Paulius Aviลพinisย and the President of the Council for the Judiciary of Lithuania Ms. Sigita Rudฤnaitฤ, who is also one of the Project experts. Insights were shared on the concept of leadership, common stereotypes in the area, phenomenon of adaptive leadership and challenges the judicial system faces in the area.
In the ๐ฌ๐๐๐จ๐ง๐ ๐ฌ๐๐ฌ๐ฌ๐ข๐จ๐ง insights and recommendations of the Project experts dedicated to Lithuania as one of the beneficiary countries were presented by Ms. Garbriele Juodkaite-Granskiene, the Chairperson of the Criminal Cases Division of the Supreme Court of Lithuania and an expert of the Project.ย
Discussion on the current challenges and possible necessary changes was held with the representatives of Lithuanian Council for the Judiciary, Examination Commission of Candidates to Judicial Office, Selection Commission of Candidates to Judicial Office, Permanent Commission for the Assessment of Activities of Judges, Judicial Ethics and Discipline Commission as well as Presidents of the Courts and representatives of the National Courts Administration.
The results of the Project relevant to Lithuania will also be presented to all interested parties in the ๐๐ข๐ง๐๐ฅ ๐๐ง๐ ๐๐ฅ๐จ๐ฌ๐ข๐ง๐ ๐๐ฏ๐๐ง๐ญ of the Project ๐จ๐ง 24 ๐๐๐ง๐ฎ๐๐ซ๐ฒ 2024 ๐ข๐ง ๐ญ๐ก๐ ๐๐๐ซ๐ฅ๐ข๐๐ฆ๐๐ง๐ญ ๐จ๐ ๐ญ๐ก๐ ๐๐๐ฉ๐ฎ๐๐ฅ๐ข๐ ๐จ๐ ๐๐ข๐ญ๐ก๐ฎ๐๐ง๐ข๐.ย
